Menzerna Super Heavy Cut HC300

Menzerna Super Heavy Cut Compound HC300 is a high performance compound designed to very quickly remove sanding marks, scratches, swirls and oxidation. Super Heavy Cut has a very high level of abrasion and we recommend this product only for experienced detailers. Unlike older style compounds this polish is non-gritty and very smooth; and surprisingly low dust. HC300 is designed to remove up to 1200 grit sanding marks, and is suggested for use with Cutting or even Wool Pads. This polish can be used after wet sanding and is suitable for all machine types. This is one of the heaviest cutters on the market!

  • Can be used by hand or machine - and suitable for both random orbital and rotary polishers.
  • Bodyshop safe with no fillers, silicones, waxes or glazes.
  • Diminishing abrasives.

The Menzerna OEM range are designed for most paint finishes including solid colour, regular clear coat and CeramiClear (e.g. late model Mercedes and BMW). All Menzerna polishes have excellent lubricating properties so do not need water to keep them working, simply work the polish by multiple passes to break down abrasive clusters and then wipe away the thin residue with a clean microfibre cloth.

The paint surface requires finishing following HC300, we would suggest Medium Cut 2400 to refine and develop depth, gloss and further clarity on the paintwork.

Cut Factor: 10
Gloss Factor: 6
Factors are based 1 lowest (gloss /cut) to 10 highest (gloss/cut)

By Hand

Match the correct hand applicator for usage. Apply a few drops of polish to the end of the hand applicator; and work in a back and forth motion until the area starts to dry. Overlap your passes and upon completion buff off excess product straight away with a microfibre cloth. Work a relatively small section - 30cm x 30cm until the vehicle is complete.

By Machine

Clean, decontaminate (with a clay bar or similar) and ensure the surface is dry before starting. Match the correct machine pad grade to the polish being used and start by priming the pad with 3 or 4 dots of polish.

First work the polish on slow speed to spread it evenly; then ramp the speed up. We recommend speed 1-2 for spreading; 3-4 for light polishing and 3-5 for cutting (on a 6 speed machine). Wipe off the polish immediately and repeat all sections until complete.
