FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Shipping

What countries do you ship to?
We currently ship to New Zealand, Australia and Fiji. Shipping outside of these countries may be possible by contacting us first.
How long does shipping take?
We aim for 1-2 days within the North Island and 2-3 days within the South Island. Rural delivery addresses may take a bit longer. International orders have a target delivery of 5-10 days.
What does shipping cost?
Standard NZ shipping is $9 or free on orders over $150. Overnight shipping to the South Island is $20. All international order shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
Which shipping carrier do you use?
For NZ orders we use Fastway as our preferred shipping agent. International orders are processed through NZ Post.
I live in the South Island. Can you ship overnight?
Yes, as long as the order is placed before 1pm Monday to Thursday. Overnight shipping incurs a cost of $20. While we cannot guarantee delivery overnight, we've found Fastway to be reliable for overnight delivery to most locations.
How can I find out where my order is?
By logging in to your account and checking your order status - this will tell you whether it is still processing or has been sent.
For orders that have been sent, you can use the provided tracking number at www.fastway.co.nz or www.nzpost.co.nz (for international orders). If you are still not sure, contact us.
My order is incomplete or damaged!
Don't stress! We take the safe delivery of orders very seriously. Please contact us immediately to resolve incomplete or damaged orders - and if you can send through some photos of damaged goods with your enquiry it will speed things up.
Can I pick up my order?
Yes you can. Pick up is available from our Penrose showroom.

How long have you been operating?
United Car Care was started in 2014 and has been going strong ever since!
What made you decided to source world leading car detailing products?
After starting our own detailing business (OCD); we found ourselves constantly sourcing products from overseas due to the lack of quality gear available in New Zealand. After demand from our customers we launched United Car Care to pass on those great products to the whole country (and of course our expertise in the industry allows us to pass on advice and support too!)
Who are United Car Care
We are a small team of car enthusiast Kiwis based in Auckland. We're truly car obsessed and obsessed with detailing and ensuring a perfect finish every time! I guess you could call us a little bit OCD ;)
How well do you know the products?
Everything we sell has been extensively and continually tested and used by us. We use all of our products in OCD - our detailing business and we will only sell what passes our strict quality checks. A few brands we used to stock have come and go - as we found better products that meant we no longer had the need to sell the other brands. We're not afraid to replace products with even better products.
Are you going to open a store outside of Auckland?
While not in the immediate plans, we do have many customers asking us this exact question. For now - you can contact one of our numerous resellers to get access to our products all around the country!

We've sponsored numerous NZ events before both with financial and product sponsorship. Not only that but we also sponsor race cars too!

How do I login to my account?
Click on the little head in the main menu at the top of our website (just to the right of the 'cart' link. Or alternatively click here.
I've forgotten my password
Head to the my account page and click the forgotten password link. If you still have no joy, contact us for a resolution.
I'm having trouble checking out!
If you're having trouble checking out first try to complete your cart using a different web browser or device. If you are still having no luck, check your payment method and try again. For technical support and website issues contact us with a screenshot and description of the problem you are having.
What payment methods do you accept?
We've made it easy with a range of different payment methods. We accept Visa, Mastercard & American Express payments using our secure checkout. PayPal is also accepted for both credit cards & PayPal balance payments. If internet banking is more of your style we also have POLi Pay and traditional bank transfer available too.
I have a discount code, where do I enter it?
Discount codes and gift cards can be entered in the checkout area after entering customer information. See the form on the right hand side marked 'Gift Card or Discount Code' and enter the code.
Can I use more than one discount code?
No, only one discount code can be used per order.
I've signed up to your newsletter, how often do you send updates?
We don't like to spam our members - so you can expect regular newsletter updates once or twice per month.

Can you accept phone orders?
Unfortunately we do not accept phone orders at this stage due to insecurity of credit card payment information. We can only generate orders via our website or through an email to sales@unitedcarcare.co.nz - with an invoice generated.

Yes, we do offer trade pricing schemes for approved businesses. Contact us with your business information to find out more.

We may be able to special order & source products not within our standard range. To enquire contact us today with specific information.
Do you sell Gift Cards?
Yes we do; both online and in-store (physical gift cards). See here.
I'm buying products for a gift, can you exclude the invoice from the packaging?
Yes we can - make sure to write your special request in the order notes.

I run a car club. Can you offer any deals?
We do deal with multiple car clubs; offering special rates on our products. Contact us with a proposal and what your club is all about!
What else do you do for clubs?
Our detailing showroom allows us to host car clubs at our premise for barbecues, club nights, detailing demonstrations and more... we're more than just the worlds best car care products... :)
