Level 3 & 4 Lockdown

To all of our friends and customers,
As you will have seen; there are some changes happening to New Zealands COVID alert levels as of midday Wednesday 12th August 2020. We are updating you on what this means for United Car Care as below.
As Auckland will be entering Level 3 - this means we are back to full contactless operations of our business. Where possible we will work from home. Our Auckland retail shop will be closed at midday Wednesday 12th August. At this stage we believe that our ability to ship orders will be uninterrupted during the Level 3 alert level - however we suggest anyone needing urgent supplies to place orders ASAP for us to send out quickly; as we do not have control over couriers or government guidelines. Anyone who has a waiting order currently should expect it to be shipped out early tomorrow morning.
As Christchurch will be entering Level 2 - this means that strict hygiene and physical distancing will apply at our Christchurch retail shop. Please obey any signage and instructions by Luke at Christchurch or if in doubt call us first on 0800-463-478. Orders that can ship out of Christchurch will be uninterrupted and click and collect is available too.

✔ 𝐌𝐁𝐈𝐄 𝐀𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐍𝐨𝐧-𝐅𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 We can send out goods immediately and during level 4 - however there are STRICT conditions - products must be hygiene and sanitation based and also available for sales of PPE equipment (more info in video).
✔ 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐜𝐭 𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐬 𝐃𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐥𝐥 𝐀𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐬 We have one staff member only working per location; extremely high levels of PPE and hygiene - plus contactless courier hand overs during all alert levels (more info in video).
✔ 𝐀𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝟑 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 - 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐤 & 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭 At Level 3 we will be closed for all retail store enquiries. We will have a fully contactless click & collect available at Auckland and Christchurch (more info in video).
✔ 𝐍𝐞𝐱𝐭 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝐏𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 In the next week will have not only redirected phone lines to reach us at home; but an online call back request form to ensure prompt responses (more info in video).

With the level 4 lockdown for COVID-19 in place; our business will be 'live' but not operational as normal. Some very important information noted below.
We have decided to make our online store active. This means all shopping cart functions will work and you can place orders; however these will not be shipped until level 4 lockdown is over. The government has started off New Zealand's level 4 lockdown with a 4 week period; however this could change. We cannot guarantee your goods will be shipped in 4 weeks - we are abiding by the government rules.
TO CONFIRM - YES YOU CAN PLACE ORDERS; BUT NO - THEY WON'T BE SHIPPED UNTIL AFTER LOCKDOWN.
The only exception to this is for businesses who are essential services. Those businesses who are operating essential services are still able to purchase goods and we are legally able to freight them out. IF you are an essential service business; please email us on firstname.lastname@example.org after placing your order; and confirm the status of your business so we can arrange freight.
